Bai Mu Dan hails from Donyipolo Tea Estate, in East Siang, Arunachal Pradesh. This superb naturally grown white tea is made from the uppermost bud and two leaves of the tea bush, plucked during the early part of summer. The leaves are withered and sun dried before leaves can fully open up.
The leaves of Bai Mu Dan are whole leaves ranging from greyish to green in colour, with ample amount of velvety silver tips in between. The cup produced is a yellowish cup, with rustic floral aromas and sweet vegetal taste, with a hint of corn and fruits in the aftertaste.
Perfect to brew an iced tea on a hot summer evening.
