At Absolute Tea, we are currently operating, with some service delays due to courier partners facing constraints on the timelines part.

Whenever we have operated in the past few months, we have disinfected the entire workplace and regular sanitising of touch points is being undertaken. The protocols suggested by FSSAI for people handling food products are being followed to ensure maximum safety. The steps include sanitising of hands every 30 minutes and before packing any new order, health monitoring by people attending office, use of masks at all times, reducing human touch points.

Coming to the tea estates we're happy to report that Assam, West Bengal & Arunachal Pradesh have started producing tea. The tea pluckers and manufacturers have been maintaining high levels of hygiene and adequate social distancing, as seen in the picture above from Dikom Tea Estate, Assam. The pluckers even before the COVID era had practices which ensured automatic social distancing. We will be doing a blog post on that very soon.

We are also going to levy a Shipping Charge of ₹50/- on all orders below ₹500/-. This has been done to cover the heightened shipping charges we have to pay while we ship during the lock-down. We promise this is temporary and we will revert to Free Shipping once things are under control.
