Donyipolo Golden Tippy - Summer 2022

Black tea from Donyipolo Tea Estate in Arunachal Pradesh, containing golden tips. The tea is finely cut and has a strong body with a nice floral aroma. Prominent Golden tips decorate the dark black leaves, leading to a golden amber cup, which is rich and complex, fragrant with hints of honey and orchids.

The dry leaves have sweet vegetal aroma which is suggestive of a nicely fired Autumnal Darjeeling. The cup is intensely fruity, medium bodied and with roasted nutty aroma. This cup would find a favour with lovers of Assam Orthodox and Darjeeling Tea both.
