Orange Pekoe is a classical tea grade which involves only the bud and two leaves which are finely picked by hand by expert pluckers at Donyipolo Tea Estate in Arunachal Pradesh. The processing of the leaves is superior as indicated by the presence of golden tips in the raw leaf. The raw leaf smells sweet with fruity notes toasted into the tea.
The brew is a golden orange with a slight aroma of toasted nuts. The brew has fruity notes with a slight tart which brings in a unique character to the tea making it stand out from the usual sweet or fruity cup.
