Yellow Tea is among the rarest and most prized of tea varieties originating from China. The process of which has been recently mastered by a few estates in Northeast India. Among them comes the world famous Donyipolo Tea Estate in the East Siang Valley.
We reckon this Donyipolo batch is amongst the finest yellow tea we have seen so far, with heavy tips and a tinge of yellow hue appearing on the leaves. The infusion brewed is bright yellow with medium body and tastes smooth as silk while having faint fruity notes.
