Hajua CTC - International Tea Day Special - 2022

Hajua Tea Estate is located in Sivsagar and is a part of the legendary "The Assam Company" group of estates. The garden boasts of high quality plantation and is renowned the world over for it's standard of high quality Assam Tea.

The raw leaf exudes the coppery brown glow, which a good Assam CTC exhibits during the summer. The granules are of Broken Pekoe (BP) grade, which indicates a lower time of boiling, while making chai. The cup produced is deep ruby shade sans milk. When prepared in the usual boiling method, the resultant cup is bright golden orange, with a aromatic cup and a medium body.

This tea was produced as a part of Tea Board of India's International Tea Day, in which the board asked the gardens to pluck just the best leaves and deliver an aromatic cup of Assam CTC.
