An iconic Assam Orthodox from Halmari Tea Estate in Dibrugarh, Assam. This beautiful tea is produced during the summer months when the bushes are at their prime. We can assure that this cup of Assam Orthodox would be amongst the best you have had yet.
Selectively plucked, long, tippy clean and delicately rolled leaves with a generous sprinkling of chunky golden buds which make for a nice contrast to the black leaves. The brew is a vibrant deep and clear hue of amber red with golden hues at the edges, indicating superb character. With a mellow taste which is medium strength which rolls on smoothly. The taste is slightly fruity with hints of nutty sweetness, while its comprehensive longevity engulfs your palate.
Special mention to the fact that this grade of tea has won multiple awards in the past years, including the Gold Medal at World Tea Championships.

For the ones who love to relish a milk free brew this is the one. Colour, not too bright not too light, it's just perfect in between. Subtle smell. Best after an hour or two after meal for me. A teaspoon of the dried golden leaf has adequate polyphenols as I need. An anti inflammatory concoction without overhang of caffeine. I suggest a brew time of no more than 5-6 minutes with a temperature between 90-95 degrees C
